Writing Across the Curriculum with Supportive Writing Center
UW-Superior will begin to implement a “student development” model of Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) that stresses direct service to students through an expanded Writing Center.
2006-2007
- Infused existing University Writing Center with funds for more tutors, expanded hours, and increased publicity for services
2007-2008
- Creation of WAC Advisory Group
- Search for and hire WAC coordinator
- Provide additional supervisory support for Writing Center
2008-2009
- WAC coordinator conducts campus-wide discussions to plan and initiate elements of WAC
