Jonathan Thunder is a Painter and Digital Media artist who currently resides in Minneapolis.

He has attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe and graduated from the Art Institutes International MN with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics.

His works have been featured in many state, regional and national exhibitions and in both local and international publications.

Work by Jonathan can be viewed on several online venues such as MNartists.org, PaintingsILove.com and others.

Artist Statement

The images I paint are like entries in a scrap book.
They're conceptual snapshots of events, characters, moments of realization and dreams that shape my life. Some are recurring characters that represent a part of me I'd like to be less like. Others represent a person I'd like to be more of. They are my journal entries.
