Program Description

The Biology program offers a major and minor that lead to either a B.S. or B.A. degree with concentrations in General Biology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Ecology, Aquatic Biology, Fisheries Science, Plant Sciences, Pre-professional Studies, and Secondary Education.  Students with an interest in medical health care delivery will find the Biology curriculum at UWS provides a comprehensive background which enables students to apply for professional health and medical programs.

The Earth Sciences curriculum offers many exciting courses in Geography, Geology and GIS as well as minors in Physical Environmental Science, Geography, Geographic Information Systems.
