Senior Lecturer, Distance Learning, Media Communication
Courses: COMM 104: Film and Culture, COMM 110: Introduction to Communication, COMM 170: Media and Society, COMM 368: Criticism of Film and Television, and COMM 477: Media Law. I am also Faculty Advisor for the UWS Women's Hockey Club.
Scholarship and Outside Activities: I produce media for the web and documentaries. The working title for my current documentary is Sticks and Stones. It is an exploration of white privilege and the racial divide through a Northern Minnesota perspective. I hold a MA and MFA from Northwestern University in Radio/Television/Film with an interdisciplinary certificate in Telecommunications Science, Policy and Management.
