Comm Arts Student Brittany Berrens Wins $1,000 Scholarship

Posted on Feb 4, 2010
The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awarded UWS Comm Arts student Brittany Berrens a $1,000 scholarhip.

The scholarship was awarded based on Brittany's GPA, two recommendation letters, student involvement, and a letter written by Brittany that explained her anticipated contributions to the broadcasting world after graduation.  In order to apply for this scholarship, students needed to be enrolled in a broadcasting field at a 4 year college or university, and must have either been from Wisconsin or attending a Wisconsin school. Brittany will be accepting the scholarship on March 6 in Madison at the Wisconsin Broadcasting Association student seminar.
