Brittany Berrens receives promotion after recent graduation from UW-Superior

Posted on Oct 24, 2011
Brittany Berrens has been promoted to editor of the Lake County News-Chronicle.

From the Duluth News Tribune, which operates the Lake County News-Chronicle in Two Harbors:

Brittany Berrens has been promoted to editor of the Lake County News-Chronicle.

Brittany succeeds Mike Creger as editor of the Chronicle after barely five months as a reporter. Brittany came to the Chronicle last spring after receiving two job offers the week of her graduation from UWS (from KUWS and WDIO). By then, she'd already worked as a newscast producer for Fox, earning an Emmy nomination, and had been a contributing reporter to the Pine Journal and Wisconsin Public Radio.
