Theatre at UW-Superior is an active and growing program, emphasizing personal attention and active student participation. We offer a diverse range of courses to our students and provide opportunities for participation in other theatres throughout the Twin Ports area.
Note: Production, rehearsal, or laboratory work is required in many courses in theatre. (A maximum of six semester credits of practica/independent study may be applied toward the requirements for any B.A. or B.S. major. A maximum of three semester credits of practica/independent study credits may be applied toward the requirements for the minor.) Additional practica/independent study credits may be elected and applied toward graduation but do not count toward the major or minor. Student involvement in University Theatre productions is required.
Portfolio Statement: All theatre majors, as part of their program of study, are expected to maintain a portfolio. These portfolios will include a resume and performance materials appropriate to their program. Portfolios will be reviewed annually.
