Kay Biga has taught at UWS since 1998. Her courses include business law, business ethics, strategic management, human resource management, contracts, real property, wills & trusts, debtor rights & credit remedies.

Ms. Biga has a Bachelor's Degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and a Juris Doctor Degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a Rule 114 Qualified Mediator. Ms. Biga is completing her Master's in Management at the College of St. Scholastica.

At UWS Ms. Biga serves on the Academic Service Learning and Student Retention Committees. She was recently awarded a Teaching with Technology grant in connection with her First Year Seminar on business ethics. Currently Ms. Biga serves on the boards of Woodland Hills, the Pachel Foundation, Duluth Supeiror Eco Rotary Club, and the 11th District Ethics Committee.

Ms. Biga has traveled to over 78 foreign countries and recently completed a trip to Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria & Romania.
