What can you do with a degree in Economics from UW-Superior?

Employment of economists is expected to grow about as fast as the average over the next decade, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Opportunities for economists should be best in private industry, especially in scientific research and development, and consulting firms, as more companies contract out for economic research services. Rising demand for economists should stem from the growing complexity of the global economy, competition, and increased reliance on quantitative methods for analyzing and forecasting business, sales, and other economic trends.
