Students in TRSP 325 -- Marine Transportation Management on March 6 toured the MV Edwin H. Gott in its winter layup berth in Duluth.

The students were guided through the 1,000-foot self-unloading bulk carrier by Capt. Ken Gerasimos of Great Lakes Fleet/Key Lakes Inc. and Jim Sharrow of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority. The tour enables students to view all key areas of the vessel to gain a better understanding of how it operates.

Duluth-based Great Lakes Fleet/Key Lakes Inc. has generouslly provided Transportation and Logistics Management classes with opportunities to tour its vessels for more than a decade.
