Dr. Orvin Clark joined the faculty at University of Wisconsin July, 2000 after 35 years in elementary and secondary education. He served as business manager and assistant superintendent-business in Wisconsin and Illinois public school districts. He holds certification as a school business manager in Wisconsin and Illinois and is a Registered School Business Administrator by the Association of School Business Officials International.
Dr. Clark has held membership in the American Association of School Administrators, American Education Finance Association, American Management Association, Association of Educational Data Systems, Association of Educational Negotiators, Association of School Business Officials International, Illinois Association of School Business Officials and Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials.
He has held leadership offices in international, national, state and regional educational management organizations. He has served as a management consultant in the areas of negotiations, wage and salary administration, school finance and facilities management.
Dr. Clark has written approximately 35 articles, has been involved in over 12 research projects and presented numerous times at regional, state and international meetings on school business management issues. He serves on the University of Wisconsin - Superior Foundation Board of Directors. He has served on numerous university committees and currently serves on Professional Education Programs Council, Faculty Senate, University Chairs, New Academic Building Planning, Athletic, Hall of Fame Committees and as Winterfest Santa Claus.
