MA: Binghamton University 2006 (Psychology)
Ph.D: Binghamton University 2009 (Cognitive Psychology)
Teaching Interests:
- Psychology of Language
- Learning and Applied Behavior Analysis
- Biological Psychology
- Senior Research
- Sensation and Perception
- Drugs and the Brain
Research Interests:
I study how people process and recognize spoken language. I am particularly interested in how people are able to recognize variant forms of words (for example, how do we know that the word broccoli can also be pronounced as brocc'li, or gentle as gen'le). I am also interested in how experience with language (and culture) shapes usage of language.
