MA: University of Kansas 2007 (Psychology)
Ph.D.: University of Kansas 2012 (Cognitive Psychology/Gerontology)

Teaching Interests:

Memory and Cognition

Professional Development

Research Interests:

I am primarily interested in how thought patterns and cognitive strategies change with age.  So my previous research has focused on age group comparisons of multi-tasking and a pervasive negative thought pattern, known as rumination.  I would like to continue to explore these areas as well as consider how social networks and media can aide or hinder the grief process.
