First Nations Program

Our Mission

The Center for First Nations Studies provides an opportunity to learn about the Native American way of life, and to share cultures and bridge the communication gap among the people of Northern Wisconsin. The Center also provides services to facilitate access for Native American people to higher education.

Our Curriculum

The Center delivers a curriculum of Native American Studies that is developed and presented by Native Americans.  This curriculum is offered in a 24 credit minor in First Nations Studies that includes courses in Native American History, Language, Literature, Tribal Government, Law and Culture.
