Burr and Hanson Win Outstanding Witness Awards in Mock Trial

Cassy Burr was the Outstanding Witness at the Ole Open held at St. Olaf in Northfield, MN the weekend of November 15-17, 2013. Burr received perfect scores to total 20 points to be named the top witness.

Andy Hanson also won an Outstanding Witness award at the same invitational.

Both competitors were among the top twelve of a field of 20 teams with over 160 Mockers competing at the tournament.

This year's case involves criminal charges. Both Burr and Hanson played witnesses related to the criminal case.

Burr and Hanson will compete next here on campus at the UW-Superior Durst Memorial Mock Trial Tournament the weekend of December 6-8,2013.
