Donald Mulhern, Ph.D, has been a college educator coach for over twenty years and teaching in the HHP Dept at the University of Wisconsin Superior for four years. Classes he teaches include Foundations of Sport and Exercise Psychology, Methods and Curriculum of Sec Physical Education, Adapted Human Performance, Assessment of the Exceptional Child in Human Performance, Adapted PE Fieldwork, Adaptive Aquatics, and Coaching Students with Special Needs. In addition to his teaching duties at UW Superior, he is also the head women's basketball coach.
His past teaching experience includes serving as a professor and director of the physical education program at Lindenwood University, associate professor of physical education at Rockford College, tenured associate professor and chair of the physical education department at MacMurray College, instructor in the physical education department at Upper Iowa University, and part-time physical education instructor at UW La Crosse.
Dr. Mulhern has a bachelor of science degree from Winona (MN) State University and a master of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. In addition, Dr. Mulhern completed his doctoral degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sport psychology from the University of Minnesota.
