

The Hester Kyllo Library Science Scholarship is a competitive scholarship that is awarded annually in the Spring of each year. The scholarship is intended to help students to pursue a minor or certification in Library Science at UW-Superior.
The scholarship may be used for:
Eligible candidates will:
Be seeking a degree at UW-Superior in the following academic year
Have declared their intent to pursue a Library Science Minor in addition to their UW-Superior degree
Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
Eligible candidates will:
Be attending UW-Superior in the following academic year or in the summer
Be attending UW-Superior primarily to attain or upgrade their School Library Science Certification
Have a GPA of 3.0 or above

Applicants should provide the Library Science Program with the following information:
Filled out the Hester Kyllo Library Science application form (attached--open, print, and fill out) and the UWS application form.
Two (2) brief essays covering each of the following areas:
a. Your library work experience
b. Your career goals as related to library science
Two (2) letters of recommendation (from persons not on the UW-Superior Library Science faculty) to support your scholarship application.
