Some of the best high school jazz musicians in the Northland are brought together for one day each fall for the Tri-State Honor Jazz Ensemble Festival held at the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior.  Students spend the day working with UWS music faculty and guest clinicians.  That evening, students participate in a concert that features them and the UWS Jazz Ensemble.
