Student-led jazz combos also have multiple performance opportunities both on and off campus. Particularly popular are the noontime "Jazz Lunch" concerts held in the snack bar of Rothwell Student Center. Combos are the "chamber music" of jazz and allow extensive opportunities for improvisation, aiding in the development of the musical personality of each player.
