![]() | The Music Department at UWS focuses on the undergraduate education of budding musicians. The department is noted for its personal touch, boasting a faculty to music major/minor ratio of 6:1. All classes and lessons are taught by faculty members, not graduate assistants, to ensure an experience-based and quality education. |
![]() | UW-Superior music students have the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of musical ensembles. Many of our students are involved in multiple ensembles each semester. |
![]() | Holden Fine Arts Building is home to Webb Recital Hall, a rehearsal hall, over 25 practice rooms, a piano lab, classrooms, a MIDI lab, a listening lab which holds over 5,000 recordings, and a jazz playback lab. Other facilities include a 700-seat auditorium, a 180-seat recital hall, and a jazz performance venue. |

![]() | Every four years, each large ensemble goes on an international tour. It is our goal that every music student involved in large ensembles will have the opportunity to perform abroad and experience a different culture at least once during tenure at UW-Superior. |
