Jeremy Niskala, a chemistry major who graduated from UW-Superior in 2006, is completing his doctorate degree at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and in December, 2010, will start his post-doctoral  project at the University of California-Berkeley.

Another recent graduate, Heather Maki, has just started her doctoral work in chemistry at Johns Hopkins University.
