Eric Edwards studies the connections between class inequality, natural processes, and environmental crisis.  Currently he is researching infant feeding practices in the United States. Specifically he is looking into class and race differences in breastfeeding duration and intensity and the ecological costs of infant formula production.  Look for several journal articles on these topics in the near future.  

Dr. Edwards received his Bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University in 1996 and his doctorate degree from University of Oregon in 2009.  He has taught at UW-Superior since 2010.  He teaches classes in social theory, environmental sociology, social class, and sociology of education.
