Sarah LaChance Adams specializes in 19th and 20th century continental philosophy, ethics, feminism, and philosophical psychology. Her current research project is titled "An Ethics of Ambivalence: Mothering and Existential Intersubjectivity." LaChance Adams is co-editor of an anthology of philosophical essays on pregnancy, childbirth and mothering (forthcoming from Fordham University Press).
