Global Studies at UW-Superior offers a "window on the world" and will strengthen your global awareness. Students will gain knowledge, experience and skills for global citizenship. It's an opportunity to explore interests in various academic paths, including study abroad, foreign language, and issue-specific study. Students are encouraged to consider multiple perspectives and ideas and to advance their critical thinking skills.

• Students work with professors from a wide range of disciplines, including business, social sciences, humanities, fine arts, and environmental sciences.
• Students benefit from small classes and personal attention from professors.
• Study abroad programs in such settings as Bosnia, China, Costa Rica, Finland, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Québec, Scotland, South Korea and Southeast Asia are excellent options for students to gain international experiences.

Employers are looking for people who not only have the knowledge and skills to do their job, but who also understand and appreciate the complex and diverse processes and consequences of globalization. Global Studies complements virtually any major, including business, communications, teacher education, social work, and legal studies.
