Reyna Crow is a Duluthian who co-founded the Northwoods Wolf Alliance in September 2012 and has organized for Idle No More Duluth since December of 2012. She served as the community relations director for the Skip Sandman for City Council campaign and organizes for the Indigenous community in Duluth upon request, which is often. Crow previously has done free lance media and public relations work for environmental and animal protection causes and some 'indigenous issues' but has never, prior to 2012 attempted to work with both Anishinaabeg and non-Anishinaabeg in the same time and space. Crow plans to discuss the challenges of relationship building across cultures as it may impact presentation and discussion of cultural differences underlying values, priorities and approaches to working on social justice issues. She will use current issues in the Twin Ports to illustrate successes and failures in relationship building.
