UW-Superior’s Library Science Program educates students to be leaders in information services and the use of information technology. The program develops competent, confident and creative professionals who enjoy the information field and can instill this value in others. Our graduates go on to positions in school, academic, specialized and public libraries, become researchers and information specialists, or pursue advanced degrees in the field.
UW-Superior's Writing Program (housed in the Department of Writing and Library Science) is multi-faceted, offering the first-year writing courses, service courses in writing for students in specific majors, and a minor in writing. The minor in writing features a variety of courses in creative, professional, and academic writing.
