Library Science Scholarships

The Ed and Amy Greve Library Science Scholarships and Hester Kyllo Library Science Scholarship are competitive scholarships that are awarded annually in the Spring of each year. The scholarships are intended to help students to pursue a minor or certification in Library Science at UW-Superior. There are two types of scholarships:

Library Science Minor Scholarships

Eligible candidates will:

  • Be seeking a degree at UW-Superior  in the following academic year

  • Have declared their intent to pursue a Library Science Minor in addition to their
    UW-Superior degree

  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or above

Scholarships are awarded up to $1,500.00 each

Certification Scholarships

Eligible candidates will:

  • Be attending UW-Superior in the following academic year or in the summer

  • Be attending UW-Superior primarily to attain or upgrade their School Library Science Certification

  • Not be students who are eligible for the Library Science Minor Scholarship

  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or above

Scholarships awarded for up to $500.00 each

The Library Science Program reserves the right not to award any scholarships in any

Procedures

Applications are due on or before Monday, March 11, 2013, and should be submitted to:
