Dr. Mary Balcer, biology, is leading a national research project aimed at stopping the introduction of invasive species into the Great Lakes.
Dr. Tony Bukoski, English, is a nationally known author who teaches advanced literature courses - and freshman English.
Dr. Richard Stewart, transportation and logistics management, is a former shipping company executive, industry consultant and ship captain.
Elizabeth Blue, social work, has worked with emotionally disturbed adolescents, operated a shelter for runaways and served as a crisis intervention counselor and tribal social worker.
Dr. Greg Trudeau, accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Managerial Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.
Dr. Priscilla Starratt, history, taught in Africa for many years before coming here to teach about Africa and the Middle East.
Dr. Victor Piotrowski, computer science, is a leader in teaching students about computer security.
Dr. Cecilia Schrenker, teacher education, is an experienced elementary school teacher, scholar and award-winning university professor.
Dr. Erin Aldridge, music, is concertmaster and first violin for the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra.
Dr. Khalil "Haji" Dokhanchi, political science, each year teaches a unique study-abroad course on war and its aftermath in Bosnia.
Dr. Maria Wyant Cuzzo, legal studies, is an attorney and licensed mediator.
