Veterans Benefits

Information and applications for veterans benefits may be obtained at the Registrar's Office in Old Main, room 139. Or you may call (715) 394-8234.

Students attending UW-Superior under the GI Bill receive monthly payments from the Veterans Administration according to the number of semester hours for which they are enrolled.

To begin the application process, veterans leaving active duty must provide UW-Superior with a certified copy of their discharge papers (DD214). The county clerk's office in the county where you live can make a certified copy from your discharge papers if needed.

Reservists and National Guard veterans must provide an original of DD 2384 Notice of Basic Eligibility. The commanding officer of your unit initiates this form.
