The M.A. program in Communicating Arts broadens the student's liberal arts background and prepares those who wish to enter professional careers in schools, colleges, radio and television stations, educational and community theatres, and in business, industry and government. Areas of emphasis within the program are Speech Communication, Theatre and Mass Communication. More information

Master of Arts in Visual Arts
The M.A. program in Art is offered for students seeking a professional degree program in the Studio Arts, Art History, Art Therapy or Art Education with studio emphasis. Requirements allow for flexibility to suit the needs and goals of individual candidates. More information

Master of Science in Education

  • Educational Administration -- Designed for educators with limited or no administrative experience who are seeking initial professional preparation and certification for school leadership positions in PK-12 Director of Instruction; PK-12 Director of Special Education and Pupil Services; or PK-12 Principalship.   • Guidance and Counseling -- Professional training leading to a M.S.E. in Community Counseling, Human Relations or School Counseling. More information
  • Instruction -- Reflects today's knowledge base about literacy instruction. The program meets Wisconsin standards for 316 licensure (reading teacher) and 317 licensure (reading specialist). More information
