AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER BETWEEN

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College
and the
University of Wisconsin-Superior

 I. Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is an independent campus in the Wisconsin Technical College System. Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. In the interest of fostering cooperation between our institutions, to better serve the transfer of students from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College to the University of Wisconsin-Superior, hereby enter into this articulation agreement.

II. The following articles delineate the understanding between Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

A. In order to facilitate the transferability of students who are enrolled in the Programmer Analyst or Microcomputer Specialist program at WITC to UW-Superior, the faculty of the institutions agree to allow the transfer of up to 60 semester hours in the following required lower-level courses for a total of no more than 72 semester credits, leading to the Computer Information Systems major. Credits will be granted only to students who complete a bachelor’s degree at UW-Superior in Computer Information Systems.

107-121, 107-123, 107-126, 107-138 if no 107-132, 107-140, 107-148, 107-157, 107-168, and/or 107-175 will apply as BUS 289 (Electives) at UW-Superior.

B. In addition to the previous courses listed BUS 270, and the completion of an upper level Economics course (ECON 3/400) at UW-Superior to fulfill the requirements for the Computer Information Systems major.

C. Students who matriculate to UW-Superior are subject to the degree requirements in effect in the students’ catalog of entry at UW-Superior.

D. Both institutions agree to monitor the progress of the agreement, evaluate its effectiveness, and make suggestions to modify this agreement.
