UW-Superior Foundation Scholarships

The UW-Superior Foundation provides numerous scholarships using money contributed by alumni and friends of the unviersity. How and where a student applies for a scholarship varies according to their status. Please read the information below to learn how you can apply for a scholarship.

New students and school counselors
Prospective students and school counselors seeking information about scholarships should visit our Admissions website for scholarship information for new freshmen and transfer students.

Current UW-Superior students: Continuing students who wish to apply for UW-Superior Foundation scholarships through their academic departments should select the Current Students link at right for instructions. Use the other links to review the scholarships available and their criteria, and find answers to frequently asked questions, You also will find a link to scholarships offered by the UW-Superior Alumni Association.

Swenson Scholars: Students who want to renew their Swenson Scholarships must complete the scholarship application and submit it to their academic department. Swenson Scholarships will be temporarily renewed until spring semester grades are posted and recipients meet the GPA requirements.

Faculty and staff: Select the Faculty and Staff link at right and follow the instructions for awarding scholarships. Use the other links to review the scholarships available and their criteria, and to find the answers to frequently asked scholarship questions.

2010-2011 Scholarships: Department and continuing student Foundation Scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year will be awarded between mid-February 2010 and mid-April 2010.
