Spring Registration November 5 - 16

Posted on Nov 5, 2012
Spring Registration is November 5 - 16

To prepare for Spring Semester registration, students should check their "Student Center" to:

1. View any holds that have been placed against your record. Holds such as parking fines, library fines, and advisor holds will stop you from registering for classes so take care of these holds before your enrollment appointment time.  Once you have been advised, your advisor will remove your "Advisor Hold."

2. View your enrollment appointment date.  Click on details and select the term you want to enroll in to see the first time you can start to register.  Schedule a time to meet with your advisor as close to your enrollment date and time as possible.  Advisors will have their appointment sheets posted near their office doors for students to sign-up for an pre-registration advisement session.

3. Review your advisement report in order to determine what courses you still need to fulfill to facilitate course planning with your advisor for next semester and bring it with you to your pre-registration advisement session.

The Center for Academic Advisement urges students to register for spring  semester classes as soon as their enrollment appointment will allow.   J-Term enrollment is considered open enrollment and doesn't require an enrollment appointment to allow registration; however, holds for fines, etc., will stop your ability to register for  J-Term  classes.   Don't put off registration as classes will close quickly!
