Katee Rosburg (Sr.-Superior, WI) and Jenna Halverson (Jr.-Barnum, MN) finished 2nd and 4th overall at the Crown College Invite helping the women's team to a 4th place finish.
Rosburg was under 24 minutes for the second week in a row finishing in 23:58 and 11 seconds ahead of Halverson. Rosburg's time was only 1 second off of her seasonal best, while Halverson's time of 24:09 was a seasonal best by 15 seconds.
Natasha Hinzmann (So.-Duluth, MN/Central) was third on the team in 26:42.
Natalie Gille (So.-Maple, WI) had a lifetime best by over a minute, finishing in 27:41, which is the first time she has ever run under 28 minutes for 6000 meters.
Cassey Hoffmann (So.-Wakesha, WI) also had a seasonal best time of 28:12 finishing 30 seconds in front of Shauna Stranko (Fr.-Superior, WI) whose time of 28:48 was 17 seconds faster than she has run this year.
The women's team will compete again on Saturday, October 25th at Jack's Run, which is a 5000 meter race hosted by the University of Minnesota.
