Women Set Distance Medley Relay Record at Drake Relays

The women's track & field team established a new school record in the Distance Medley Relay at the 100th Drake Relays, which is being hosted by Drake University in Des Moines, IA .

The relay team of Katee Rosburg, SR- Superior, WI, Megan Belger, SO- Bloomer, WI, Nancy Hudack, SR- Ashland, WI, and Jenna Halverson, JR- Barnum, WI ran 12:47.05 enroute to the record setting time in windy and very hot conditions.

The Distance Medley Relay legs consists of the following distances, 1200 meters (Rosburg), 400 meters (Belger), 800 meters (Hudack), 1600 meters (Halverson).

Rosburg, Hudack, Halverson, and Cassey Hoffmann, JR- Waukesha, WI will also be competing in the 4 x 800 meter relay on Saturday morning, and are hoping to break the school record in that event too.
