A vision for UW-Superior's future - that is what prompted the UW-Superior Foundation to launch Campaign Superior. Raising $17.5 million will position the University for the future by providing the people, programs and infrastructure needed to produce skilled, knowledgeable graduates who are ready to become leaders in our society.

Donors' generosity means Campaign Superior
and UW-Superior are making progress

(July 7, 2008) - As Campaign Superior: Higher Expectations approaches its fifth and final year, donors can already see how much of a difference their generosity has meant to UW-Superior and its students.

Three important university projects are moving forward. Each project is receiving substantial funding from Campaign Superior. Here's an update:

  • Work is under way on the new student center. See photos.

  • Renovation of Jim Dan Hill Library is progressing on schedule. See photos

  • Construction of the Swenson Hall academic building is expected to start in early 2009.

As before, much remains to be done for Campaign Superior to reach its goal of raising $17.5 million by the end of 2009.

First, funding needs remain for the three building projects.

Second, unrestricted gifts are needed so the Annual Superior Fund can provide more student scholarships, research opportunities, new equipment and faculty support.

As always, the bottom line for Campaign Superior and the university is serving the students of today and tomorrow.  Because of your generosity, progress is being made.
