Inclusive Excellence

Inclusive Excellence is the umbrella framework under which the UW System and its institutions will move forward in coming years to address equity, diversity and inclusion. The central premise of Inclusive Excellence holds that UW System colleges and universities intentionally need to integrate their diversity efforts into the core aspects of their institutions-including priorities, leadership, quality improvement initiatives, decision making, day-to-day operations, and organizational cultures- in order to maximize their success.

At UW-Superior, Inclusive Excellence is the act of facilitating development, supporting sustainability and monitoring progress of the creation of inclusive learning, living, and working environments for individuals from all diverse backgrounds and institutional roles to ensure the likelihood of success in attaining their goals and ambitions.
