UW-Superior Career Services has launched a new web-based recruitment system for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers.

'Jacket Jobs enables students to post a resume, search for employers, contact career mentors, and view jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. 'Jacket Jobs also serves as a platform for students and alumni to register for Career Services events such as workshops, etiquette dinners, and on-campus interviews.

Plus, 'Jacket Jobs hosts many great "Additional Resources" geared specifically toward UW-Superior students. These online tools allow students to dive deeper into career exploration and opportunities:

• Optimal Resume - provides a step-by-step builder for resumes, cover letters, and portfolios as well as utilizes virtual mock interviewing technology to improve your skills.

• Going Global - explores working, interning, and volunteering abroad while also supplying country guides to numerous locations.

• USA City Career Guides - presents city guides of popular areas and provides information about the cost of living, job market, and standards for those areas.

As an online tool, 'Jacket Jobs is accessible 24 hours a day, both on and off campus. All current students and May and August 2009 graduates have accounts. Alumni are welcomed to create accounts by filling out the JJ Alumni Request Form, while faculty and staff may create accounts by contacting Career Services.
