'Jacket Fest, the annual student involvement and part time job fair will be held next Tuesday September 13, at the Yallowjacket Union Outdoor Plaza from 11a.m.-2 p.m. Each fall the event attracts students, different on-campus departments and student organizations as well as local business and non-profit organization looking to recruit members to join their teams.
This year's event will host a variety of local employers looking for student employees, volunteers and interns. Among the growing list of organizations who have registered for 'Jacket Fest include the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA), Cold Fusion, Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse (CASDA), the Great Lakes Aquarium, Superior Martial Arts, and United Way of Greater Duluth. Other employers attending include on-campus departments such as the UW-Superior Writing Center, UW-Superior Student Support Services and UW-Superior Campus Recreation.
'Jacket Fest also allows students a good opportunity to see what other resume building opportunities are available here on-campus by learning and signing up for the various student organizations at UW-Superior.
To view the full list of employers attending please visit Jacket Jobs, and for general information contact Allison Gerland at 715-394-8444, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
