Nick Bursik is a Marketing and Management graduate, who completed his degree in May of 2012. Recently, he obtained two positions at UW-Superior, Interim Coordinator of the Veteran and Nontraditional student center and Assistant Baseball Coach/Game Promotions Assistant with Athletics.

Nick learned about this opportunity through working in the Athletic Department as a student and networking with Faculty and Staff. His business background and professional skills helped him secure these positions.

He wants students to know that networking is key when trying to find a job. Career Services provided him with the training and networking events which lead to his success. Nick confirms that UW-Superior has given him the educational and professional background that will make him a valuable asset to any company.

Finally, something he wants students to keep in mind is that no matter how many job applications you submit, it all comes down to representing yourself in a professional manner and being able to communicate.
