(A maximum of six semester credits of practica/independent study may be applied toward the requirements for any B.A. or B.S. major or minor.) Additional practica/independent study credits may be elected and applied toward graduation but do not count toward the major or minor.

Portfolio Statement: As part of their program of study, all Journalism Track students (starting with COMM 191 and COMM 203) are expected to start and maintain a portfolio of newspaper clippings, sound and/or video recordings of journalism work.
