offers a quality liberal arts education combined with solid professional
training. Our campus is one of 13 comprehensive universities in the University
of Wisconsin System. UW-Superior specializes in providing the atmosphere

In 1971 the college became part of the University of Wisconsin System and assumed its present name.
Today, the university continues to be known for its outstanding teacher education programs, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, it has built a reputation for academic excellence through programs in business, biology, computers, psychology, social work, communications, music, health and other fields.
