Sports Medicine Minor

A pre-professional program in the study of prevention, care, treatment, rehabilitation of medical circumstances involved in athletic, recreational and occupational activities. A combination of theory and laboratory experiences designed to provide the student with the knowledge and understandings to manage the health care of the physically active. The Sports Medicine Minor can be completed under the major studies of Corporate and Community Health Promotion, Human Performance (Physical Education) and Exercise Science. It may also be completed within many other academic areas.
