Additional practica/independent study credits may be elected and applied toward graduation but do not count toward the major or minor.
Credit by Examination Policy
It is the policy of the Department of Communicating Arts that performance courses are not appropriate for credit by examination. This policy includes Communicating Arts 110 and 370, which are public speaking courses, and performance courses in drama and mass communication. In all non-performance courses, each faculty member decides whether credit by examination is appropriate for the course for which the faculty member is responsible.
