Become a Leader

Established in 1991, the Leadership Superior/Douglas County Program is an annual program for approximately 25-30 emerging and existing leaders who want to be involved in improving the community and shaping its future. Participants represent a cross-section of the urban and rural communities of Douglas County and have diverse backgrounds and interests. The program:

• Indentifies and cultivates current and future leaders
• Offers a two day retreat and all-day monthly meetings on a variety of topics
• Heightens community awareness and deepens involvement of local citizens
• Offers an opportunity for new citizen networks to develop and help to shape the future of our community
