This course examines the theory and practice of mediation in the area of civil law. Major topics include conflict resolution theory; mediation skills and techniques; components of the mediation process; mediator conduct including all aspects of ethics. When combined with LSTU 471, this course meets the 30 hour State Of Minnesota requirements for qualified neutral status under Rule 114.
