There is virtually no place a person can go on most public university campuses to have a reasonable, respectful and open discussion about spirituality and religion.
Do you consider yourself spiritual or a person of faith?
Do you feel like a minority because you belong to a religion or faith tradition other than Christianity?
Are you a conservative Christian but feel like people unfairly negatively stereotype you?
Are you longing to discuss (not debate) spiritual issues but don't know where to go?
Is it possible to have an honest conversation about these things where:
Dr. Terencio Daunte McGlasson, Assistant Professor of Counseling will facilitate an open conversation about faith development on public university campuses. Dr. McGlasson is a former minister with a master's degree in theology. He has extensive experience researching and presenting on these issues and wants to have this conversation on our campus.
All faiths and beliefs are welcomed here and everyone can feel safe to share their thoughts, feelings and fears in a way that will benefit us all.
