Experience an Interrelated and Multi-age Approach to Developing Musical Skills and Understanding in Music!
Sequentially designed, multiage approach to music reading and writing skills via soprano recorder ensemble playing, singing, improvising and composing. Includes instruction in beginning piano with theory basics for harmonizing folk and children's songs development of informed listening skills. Course studies support state and national standards for music education. Whether you are an older beginner or a seasoned educator, participants will appreciate and enjoy this hands on 5-day workshop and "go at your own pace" interrelated approach to developing musical skills and understanding.
Each day includes interrelated teaching and learning in the above listed areas of music education. Especially good for educators or community directors who are interested in working with youths and adults in community settings, group teaching inside and outside of the elementary or high school general music classroom, and church music education.
