This seminar is for people who have finished the fourth Level of Japanese Culture & Language or have equivalent knowledge. This course introduces the dictionary form, an essential form for everyday communication in Japan, and a foundation for moving on to advanced study. Lessons will focus on explaining famous facilities, buildings, and locations, including what people can enjoy at certain places, giving students the skills to ably entertain Japanese people as well as to better function when visiting Japan. In addition, students will learn some kanji. Class presentations will be designed to provide unique insights on Japanese culture through the introduction and practice of various language learning experiences.
