Workshop Details

Participants learn the basics of choral technique and choral conducting for middle school and high school choral music education; experience and develop understanding in how to choose appropriate literature for secondary music ensembles; and learn strategies for working with the adolescent voice. Includes nuts and bolts strategies for beginning and developing choral programs, scheduling of various choral offerings, and information on where to find appropriate resources for teaching and learning in choral music.
